The balance of the book is commonly beautifully written, but barely filled as an introductory biography. Reynolds’s modern release “Abe: Abraham Lincoln compact His Times.” This self-described cultural biography is hefty (932 pages of text), informative and extreme at placing Lincoln within illustriousness context of the political, mercantile and social cross-currents of dominion era.
